The Institute of Studies for the Integration of Systems is an Italian research and consulting firm supporting international, national and local public bodies for the analysis, design, implementation and evaluation of sustainable policies in the fields of transport and mobility, urban planning, energy, environment, and the knowledge society. With a permanent staff of 20 experts, mainly engineers, statisticians and policy scientists, ISINNOVA has supplied expertise and solved complex problems for a variety of public and private organisations, including the European Commission, for over four decades.

Vectos (South) Limited is a dynamic transport planning consultancy, based in the UK and Italy. It specialises in providing transport policy and planning advice to developers, retailers, mobility operators, land owners and local authorities. Involvement in state-of-the-art European programmes such as CIVITAS enables intelligence to be fed directly into the company’s UK portfolio, ensuring that its solutions remain at the international leading edge. Vectos also provides clear advice on sustainability measures and on designing and achieving behavioural change in mobility patterns.

Vlaamse Instelling Voor Technologisch Onderzoek N.V. is a leading independent European research and consulting centre developing sustainable technologies in the area of energy, environment, transport, materials and remote sensing. VITO provides objective research, studies and advice enabling European, national and regional authorities to establish future policies. Its research focuses on an integrated analysis of (i) transport and mobility, (ii) energy use and supply, (iii) industrial emissions, (iv) living and building and (v) climate change and land use.

European Integrated Project - EIP is a consultancy company based in Romania, with an additional office in Italy. The company works for city authorities, operators and the private sector, primarily in awareness-raising, communications and marketing on sustainability issues, project and consortium management, stakeholder engagement on sustainability issues and securing funding and project support within European sustainable transport initiatives and EU structural funds.

Technion Israel Institute of Technology has been Israel’s primary technological university and the country’s largest centre of applied research for more than eight decades. It is ranked among the leading technological universities in the world, with three Nobel prizes and a worldwide reputation for its pioneering work in electronics, information technology, nano(bio)technology, materials engineering and water management.

MCRIT, S.L. was founded in 1988 by engineers from UPC-Barcelona Tech, and stands for “Multicriteria”, the method of decision support that integrates both quantitative and qualitative assessments, used in project appraisal and policy assessment. MCRIT has a multidisciplinary team of engineers, economists, environmentalists, geographers, designers and computer specialists working in strategic, spatial development and infrastructure planning.

The University of Groningen was founded in 1614 and is the second oldest and third largest university in the Netherlands. Some areas of activity within its department of Psychology are environmental and traffic psychology, with a special interest in factors influencing behaviours relevant for several domains such as sustainable mobility, reduction of carbon-emissions, reduction of car use and household energy use.
